Outpatient Wound Ostomy Services
Certified wound care specialists are equipped to treat special conditions and provide counseling and emotional support. A wound nurse can help patients who suffer from bedsores, chronic or non-healing wounds, wounds of the legs and feet, venous disease causing swollen legs and non-healing wounds. They also work with surgical wounds that fail to heal and foot conditions caused by diabetes. They are available to consult with those needing this specialized care, including inpatients and Home Health patients.

Tiffany Weeder, APRN, completed the requirements of the National Alliance of Wound Care. She received her BSN in Nursing from Creighton University, and her Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practioner from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2014. She is a specialist for patients with wounds and ostomy conditions.
