Jessica Kappes is a medical student in the Physician Assistant program
at Union College, Lincoln. Dr. Charlotte Wirges, Family Medical
Specialties, is one of her preceptors as she studies OB/Gyn in Holdrege.
She is originally from Garretson, SD, and is in her third year. She will
graduate in May 2009.
Bradley Salonen is a second year medical student at the University of
Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. A native of Brookings, SD, he is in
Holdrege for three weeks, working on his rural primary care rotation. He
is shown here with his preceptor, Dr. Scott Ehresman, Family Medical
Specialties, who is instructing him with primary care in both clinic and
hospital work.
Zac Handler is a third year medical student also from UNMC,
Omaha. He is shown here with Dr. Tuck Smith, Family Medical
Specialties, who is helping him with his family medical rotation
in Holdrege. Zac also learned about field work by traveling to
Haiti with the medical mission group led by Dr. Stuart Embury
last May. He is originally from the San Francisco area.
