Recent
donation of $20,000 to Phelps Memorial Health Center
Raymond Palmer recently donated $20,000 to Phelps
Memorial Health Center to use for patient care. This donation made it
possible to purchase and upgrade colonoscopy equipment. This equipment
is used in the surgical department to detect small polyps during
colonoscopies, and to help save lives through early detection. Colon
cancer is treatable when detected early. Mr. Palmer continues his
history of generously supporting PMHC projects. One of his earlier
donations paid for the first automatic door opening system at PMHC.
