SERVICE LEAGUE DONATES TO HOSPITAL - The Phelps Memorial Health
Center Service League donated $3,000 to Phelps Memorial Health Center at
the annual Service League Appreciation Luncheon. Pictured here, at
right, Service League President Rose Ann Messersmith hands the check to
PMHC CEO Mark Harrel. The League has designated the funds to be used for
equipment for the PMHC Home Health Department and to begin a gift kiosk
at the hospital. The kiosk will make gifts available for patients,
friends, family members and employees.
NEW LEAGUE PRESIDENT: The new Service League president was also
nominated and elected at the Service League luncheon. Pictured here,
Past President Rose Ann Messersmith receives her president’s pin from
new President Helen Tagge. Mrs. Messersmith had served three years as
president of the League. President Mrs. Tagge announced the other
officers and said she was looking forward to working with all the
volunteers.
