Infection Control

Prevention is the key to stopping the spread of many infectious diseases. Traci Holt, Infection Control Coordinator, develops measures to prevent the spread of infections amongst our patients, personnel and visitors.

Handwashing is the single most important means of preventing the spread of infection. It is required that all PMHC employees wash their hands when entering and exiting all patient rooms.

You can do your part by carrying antibacterial hand sanitizer. Use it before and after leaving high traffic areas for germs!

Four Simple Ways to Prevent Infection:

1. Clean your hands.
2. Make sure healthcare providers clean their hands
    and wear gloves.
3. Cover your mouth and nose.
4. If you are sick, avoid close contact.
