Maintenance

These are our go-to guys, like 9-1-1 they respond 24/7! The PMHC Maintenance Team maintains plumbing and electrical systems, including boilers and chillers that heat and cool the buildings both on-site and remotely. They provide maintenance of patient beds and other medical equipment as well as safety checks on equipment brought into the hospital and other buildings.

In addition to maintaining the grounds and facility, they provide back-up for the EMS department when drivers are needed for ambulance services, make courier runs for the Laboratory, Pharmacy and Radiology departments.

The PMHC Maintenance crew is in charge of installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physicial structures, grounds, pipes, and utility systems within PMHC and our other facilities. Additional duties include traffic control, Helicopter security, and hospital security..

They do a great job keeping PMHC, Phelps Memorial Professional Building and the Phelps Memorial Medical Plaza maintained beyond expectations. With over 20 departments and 220 employees to service, the scope of their duties and skills are endless.

The Maintenance team operates Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. They are also on-call after hours for emergencies.
