Health Information Management

Health Information Management (HIM), also referred to as Medical Records, is responsible for maintaining medical records in a standardized and professional manner in order to protect patient confidentiality, while allowing adequate access to providers in order to promote quality patient care. We strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

HIM provides the following services including but not limited to transcription, diagnosis and procedure coding, release of information, submission of birth certificates, information to state agencies concerning traumas, births and deaths.
