2005 Silver Run
Running for Rancho, a total of 213 people competed
in the 2005 Silver Run, setting a Silver Run record for participation.
The Phelps Memorial Foundation Committee has designated the proceeds
from the Silver Run to be given to the new law enforcement dog in Phelps
County, Rancho, a Dutch Shepherd. Rancho is partnered with Captain Brad
Butler of the Phelps County Sheriff’s department and is a working law
enforcement dog. Phelps Memorial Health Center, High Plains Family
Medicine and Family Medical Specialties are the primary sponsors of the
event.
