Phelps Memorial Health Center joins with Family
Medical Specialties and High Plains Family Medicine in organizing the annual
Silver Run to promote wellness and physical fitness for men and women of all
ages. The race is conducted each year in conjunction with Holdrege's Swedish
Days Celebration. The date for the 2011 event is Saturday, June
18 (pending on Swedish Days date). Race brochures will be available after May

The event includes men's and women's races at the
following distances:10K run, 5K run, 2 mile run, and 2 mile walk. All courses are USA Track and Field Sanctioned and Certified. All monies raised are used for wellness programs
at Phelps Memorial Health Center. The cost to participate is $15 per person which includes a race t-shirt and race packet. Trophies are awarded to the 1st place finishers in each event, in addition, medals are awarded to the top finishers in each of these age categories for men and women:
