FIRST BABY FOR 2012: Alicia Irene Aldama is the first baby of the year 2012 born at Phelps Memorial Health Center. She was born at 7:33 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11. Alicia weighed 8 lbs, and 20 inches long. She is the daughter of Manuel and Karen Aldama, Holdrege. Pictured here are the new parents, baby Alicia and one of their nurses at PMHC, Jamie Schmeits, RN, OB. Dr. Jeffrey Berney is the attending physician. Alicia’s two big brothers, Christopher, 9 and Chance, 7, will welcome her home in Holdrege.
