Medical Students at PMHC

Marnie Thrasher is a medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is studying to become a Physician Assistant following graduation in December. She is from Omaha and is with Family Medical Specialties and Phelps Memorial Health Center for three months on her rural family practice rotation. Marnie is pictured here with Dr. Charlotte Wirges.

UNMC Student

Chris Jensen, third year medical student is also studying with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, as he works toward his medical doctor degree. He is in Holdrege working an 8 week rural family practice rotation with Family Medical Specialties and PMHC. Chris is originally from Kearney and is interested in emergency medicine. Dr. Scott Ehresman is the preceptor and is pictured here with Chris.

Jill Westcott is a third year medical student at UNMC. She is on her second rotation in Holdrege. This time it is in family practice with Dr. Richard Reiner, High Plains Clinic, who is pictured here with Jill. She will be here two months and said she is interested in OB or surgery for the future.

Micah Pearson is an Occupational Therapy Student at the College of St Mary, Omaha, and is working a two month rotation at PMHC and the Phelps Memorial Therapy Center. She is pictured here with her preceptor, Lauren Senn, OT. Micah graduates in May.
