Two of the ESU #11 Summer Honor Students in Medical Science spent their second week of the honor program at Phelps Memorial Health Center, working with and observing different areas of the hospital. Pictured here at left is Jessica Moore, Arapahoe, who will be a senior in high school and has an interest in laboratory and pharmacy. McKenna Rieker, at right, Eustis, will be a junior and is interested in surgery.

The medical science students spend their first week at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and their second week at hospitals throughout the ESU #11 district.
