2011 Race Results:
The following are links to all runners or walkers, their
times, their age divisions and their hometown with the medal winners listed
in bold. An asterisk by a name indicates a course record was set by that
person this year in their age group.
The 19th annual walking and running of the Silver Run set records again in attendance and time on Saturday, June 18, during the Holdrege Midsommarfest (Swedish Days) Celebration.
445 runners and walkers registered for the races that began at 8 a.m., breaking the 2010 race participation record by 60 runners and walkers. The weather was stormy the night before, but ideal running temperature by race time.
Overall male and female winners (and times) of the four different races are: 10K winners Marcus Witter (32:58), Kearney, and Jena Deaver (46:29), Holdrege, 5K winners Nolan Zimmer (16:57), Kearney, and Becky Steinke (23:00), Grand Island, 2 Mile Run winners Gabby Gracia (12:27), Holdrege, and Andrew Dailey (13:46), Holdrege,
2 Mile Walk winners Scott Monthey (20:38), Holdrege, and Joyce Palmer (23:11), Lincoln.

SILVER RUN TAKES OFF: Runners of all ages take off from the start line on June 18 at North Park. 445 people participated in the Silver Run races. Age division winners and all results are at www.phelpsmemorial.com.
