Echocardiograms (Echo) and Vascular Ultrasounds

Equipment: Phillips IE33
Echo and vascular studies are scheduled by your physician. These studies
are available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
Great Plains Radiology of Kearney, NE read and interpret all vascular
studies. A cardiologist from Bryan Heart Institute in Lincoln, NE,
Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln, NE, or Midlands Cardiology in
Kearney, NE interpret the echocardiograms. The ordering physician will
receive a report with the full results of the exam.
Echos and vascular exams are noninvasive ultrasound procedures that use
high frequency sound waves. These sound waves are used to produce images
of the heart and blood vessels throughout the body.
