Patient Satisfaction Scores/Core Measures
Phelps Memorial Health Center continually looks to our patients, our
community and our staff to identify areas where we may improve our
processes. We continually review our patient surveys and public
comments to better PMHC. Listening to our patients and neighbors will
allow us to improve our delivery of service.
PMHC has developed a variety of teams where
opportunities may be identified. It is through their collaborative efforts
and suggestions that we strive to continually improve our patient's environment.
Here is a sample of current Teams and their
functions:
- Accreditation / Survey Readiness Team
Assist Department Leaders in their efforts to maintain a constant state of third party survey readiness throughout Phelps Memorial Health Center.
- Clinical Excellence Council
The CEC's mission is to improve the quality of clinical care at PMHC.
This mission is achieved by using reports from the areas of Core Measures
and Patient Satisfaction responses.
- KAOS
The KAOS Team strives to improve employee satisfaction and enhance relationships by creating an environment where employees are appreciated and recognized for their vital role in the organization and are proud to work at PMHC. This Team is comprised of any interested employee that wishes to encourage: Kindness, Appreciation, Opportunity, and Self-esteem/Smiles.
- Patient Safety Team
Create a strong patient safety culture by: * Ensuring staff has the necessary knowledge and skills to safely perform required duties * Designing systems that improve safety performance * Involving staff in evaluating and implementing systems and tools that will enhance patient safety * Engaging patients and their families in improving the care delivery system at PMHC.
- Quality/Community Health Committee
This is a group of Medical and Community Leaders who participate in the
Medical Staff Credentialing process. They are also presented with reports on
internal measures. The committee's input is used in consideration on
developing strategies to improve processes.
- Recruitment & Retention Team
The PMHC Recruitment and Retention Team is a leadership group composed of managers that identifies needs and opportunities to assist in finding and keeping employees that add value to the organization by supporting the facility Mission, Vision and Values.
- WEB Team
The PMHC Internet Web Site Team will develop, implement and maintain an Internet site to provide useful and educational information to our customers, market and increase awareness of our services, and communicate the Mission, Vision and Values of PMHC.
