Melody Kaufman, Value, has helped
cover several evening
shifts in the PFS department, even
though she normally works dayshift.Several times she has been at work
during her day shift, then goes home for a
few hours and comes back to work the night
shift. She has been willing to help out however
she was needed.
Amy Beck, Excellence, goes above and beyond for her patients. She couldn't reach
a patient by phone, so went to the house,
finding the patient without electricity in a
very cold home. The elderly patient did not
know what to do. Amy call the City for information
and went to pay the bill for the
patient (with the patient's money). She explained
the situation and asked that this account
be marked so it wouldn't happen
again. Amy also called the patient's family
to explain, who thanked her, and referred
their loved one to the Area
Agency on Aging.
Irene Critser, Service, worked to resolve a
patient's anxiety by expediting the process
for the patient to receive results. The patient was very concerned about a test and
the results of the test she was having done.
Irene was able to speed the process up,
which enabled the patient to begin treatment
sooner than might have been. This
eased the patient's worries and eased their
anxiety.
Jessica Ward, Enthusiasm, saw the need
to take time to help a patient with her
breakfast. Even though Jessica works in
Respiratory, she stepped up and helped the
patient with her meal as the
patient could not feed
herself.
