Phelps Memorial CPR Training Courses

The American Heart Association has courses designed to train individuals for life threatening emergency situations. These courses include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and first aid basics. The knowledge and skills you learn may help save the life of a loved one, a friend or a neighbor. All classes are held in the Rex Kelly conference room located at the Phelps Memorial Health Center, 1215 Tibbals Street. The staff at the front desk will be happy to assist you. To register for classes or if you have questions contact Linda Fecht, Marketing & Education Coordinator, at 308.995.2905.

BLS Healthcare Provider Class

Renewal of core material including adults/child/infant CPR (including two-rescuer CPR), airway barriers, bag mask ventilation, AED and foreign-body airway obstruction. This is an advanced CPR course is held from 2p-4p  during the dates specified below in the registration form. The registration fee of $60 is due at time of registration and includes all course material.

Heartsaver CPR/AED Training

This course teaches CPR and relief of choking techniques for adult, child and infant victims, plus the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Designed for individuals who need credentialing training for job or regulation requirements. The course is held from 6-8p during the dates specified in the registration form below. The registration fee is $40, due at the time of registration, and includes all course material.

Heartsaver CPR & Pediatric First Aid Training

This class teaches the CPR course and is also designed to meet the specific needs of child daycare providers. The course teaches first aid basics, medical emergencies and environmental emergencies. The course is held from 8p-10p during the dates specified in the registration form below. The registration fee is $75, due at time of registration, and includes all course material.
