CT & CT-A Diagnostic Testing

A CT scan uses x-ray radiation to generate images of the internal structure of the body. CT-A (CT Angiogram) looks specifically at blood vessels within the body. Our Team of professionals, with a combined 70 years of experience, are well-trained in testing. Pediatric tests are available as well. Light sedation may be used if necessary.

What to Expect During a Computed Tomography (CT) Scan

Arrive at the hospital at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Check-in with our Admission Team, located just inside our main entrance. The test take approximately an hour from start to finish. Guests will lie on a narrow table that slides into the center of the CT scanner. The x-ray beam them rotates around the body creating a 3-dimensional image of the body. It is important to remain still and calm during the test as movement may cause a blurred image.
