Inpatient Care

Charge Nurse, Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Full-time Nights, from 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend and Holiday rotation is required.  

Under the supervision of a Nurse, the CNA (Patient Care Tech) is cross-trained in the role of Unit Secretary and Nursing Assistant.  Based on the needs of the department, responsibilities are a combination of providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the nurse and performing a variety of computer, clerical, scheduling, and supply functions as necessary for the operation of the unit. 

Full-Time Nights, 6:00p-2:30a, Monday-Friday, Every other weekend and Holiday rotation.

Full-time Days, 6:00a-6:00p, 36 hours a week, weekend & holiday rotation.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN or LPN-C) manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd Weekend and Holiday Rotation.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Surgical Services

PRN, Days, Varied Hours.

The Registered Nurse in the OR manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Full-time, Exempt, 3 weeks on 1 week off, call rotation is 1 week every 4 weeks. 

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers anesthesia, monitors patient’s vital signs, and oversees patient recovery from anesthesia. Assists with anesthesia-related medical and emergency situations such as airway maintenance and pulmonary ventilation.

Emergency Services

Emergency Department, Part-time, 1 shift a week 7p-7a, every 3rd weekend rotation.

The Physician’s Assistant or APRN is responsible for providing medical and/or emergency services including assessing and managing patients in the emergency department, hospital, outpatient, and clinic settings following established standards and best practices.

Full-time, 6a-6a with call from 10p-6a, 24-48 hours a week.

The EMT-P is responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent patient care while on duty and assists in other areas of the facility, as needed.

Radiology

Full-time, 40 hours a week, Call Rotation, Multi-modality CT/X-ray/US

The Radiologic Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for patients of all ages for diagnosis and treatment.

PRN, Multi-modality CT/MRI/X-ray/US - will cover planned and unplanned staff absences.

Food & Nutrition Services

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

The Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services, with assistance from the Director of Guest Services and Registered Dietitian, plans, organizes and directs the operation of the Food and Nutrition Services Department’s daily functions.  It is the role of this employee to supervise co-worker’s work behaviors and competencies with the goal of improving adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, along with all other day to day operations of the Department in order to provide exceptional quality of food and service to Phelps Memorial Health Center (PMHC) customers and patients.

Environmental Services

Full-time, 40 hours a week, Shift hours will vary and include 7-3:30, 8-4:30, and 8:30-5.  Every 5th weekend and rotating holidays required.

The Environmental Services Technician I cleans onsite and offsite hospital areas and ensures there is an ample supply of clean linen for patient and facility use.

Fiscal Services

Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p

The Staff Accountant works closely with the Senior Accountant to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records of PMHC.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30p.

The Materials Management Technician is responsible for receiving, appropriate accounting for and distribution of supplies and equipment required and utilized by all hospital departments.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p, 40 hours a week.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing all accounting, financial processing, reporting, and related data management functions.  Senior accountant coordinates activities to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records of PMHC.

Quality

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.

The Infection Control/Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for developing measures and providing education to identify, prevent, and control infections for patients and employees. The coordinator is also responsible for assisting in the development, coordination and evaluation of clinical education for team members.

Medical Group

Full-time Exempt
