Inpatient Care

Charge Nurse, Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Phelps Memorial Health Center is looking for a CNA (Patient Care Tech) to work full-time, from 6p-6a.  Every 3rd weekend and Holiday rotation is required.  

Under the supervision of a Nurse, the CNA (Patient Care Tech) is cross-trained in the role of Unit Secretary and Nursing Assistant.  Based on the needs of the department, responsibilities are a combination of providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the nurse and performing a variety of computer, clerical, scheduling, and supply functions as necessary for the operation of the unit. 

Surgical Services

Full-time, Day shift, Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p with some later shifts, call every 5th weekend & 4-5 week days per month.

The Registered Nurse in the OR manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Emergency Services

Full-time, 48 hours a week, 7a-7a with call 11p-7a.

The EMT-P is responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent patient care while on duty and assists in other areas of the facility, as needed.

Laboratory

PRN, will cover planned and unplanned staff absences, hours varied.

The Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Technologist performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease of patients of all ages.

Food & Nutrition Services

Full-time, 40 hours a week, 9:30a-6p, every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

The Cafeteria Aide Follows processes, orders and menus to prepare items needed appropriate for all age categories of patients, visitors and staff, also provides appropriate clean up.

Part-time, 2:00p-8:00p, 15-20 hours a week, Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

Plant Operations

Full-time, 40 hours a week, M-F 7:30a-4p, With evening/call/weekend/holiday rotation.

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, grounds, pipe, and utility systems in the facility. 

Medical Group

Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, No nights & no weekends.

The Certified Medical Assistant is trained to provide care in the clinic setting to patients under the supervision of LPN, RN, APCs and Physicians.
