Inpatient Care

Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Phelps Memorial Health Center is looking for a CNA (Patient Care Tech) to work full-time, from 6p-6a.  Every 3rd weekend and Holiday rotation is required.  

Under the supervision of a Nurse, the CNA (Patient Care Tech) is cross-trained in the role of Unit Secretary and Nursing Assistant.  Based on the needs of the department, responsibilities are a combination of providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the nurse and performing a variety of computer, clerical, scheduling, and supply functions as necessary for the operation of the unit. 

Emergency Services

Full-time, 6a-6a with call from 11p-6a, 24-48 hours a week.

The EMT-B is responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent patient care in the pre-hospital setting. The EMT-B provides patient care during inter-facility transfers and assists hospital staff in the management and care of patients within the hospital setting as needed.

Laboratory

Full-time, Temporary 3p-11p shift with advancement to days, weekend and holiday rotation.

The Medical Laboratory Technician performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease of patients of all ages.

PRN, will cover planned and unplanned staff absences, hours varied.

The Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Technologist performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease of patients of all ages.

Radiology

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 Hours a week, Holiday & Call Rotation, CT experience preferred but not required.

The Radiologic Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for patients of all ages for diagnosis and treatment.

Pharmacy

Part-time day position but will eventually move to a full-time position. 

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. The pharmacist may advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications and is involved in inventory and narcotic control and accurate billing of medications to our customers.

Specialty Clinic

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 32 hours a week.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is trained to provide care in the clinic setting to patients under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse. Based on the needs of the department, responsibilities are a combination of providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the nurse and performing a variety of computer, clerical, scheduling, and supply functions as necessary for the operation of the clinic.

Food & Nutrition Services

Full-time, 40 hours a week, 9:30a-6p, every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

The Cafeteria Aide Follows processes, orders and menus to prepare items needed appropriate for all age categories of patients, visitors and staff, also provides appropriate clean up.

Environmental Services

Part-time, 4:00p-9:30p, 20 hours a week.

The Environmental Services Technician I cleans onsite and offsite hospital areas and ensures there is an ample supply of clean linen for patient and facility use.

Plant Operations

Full-time, 40 hours a week, M-F 8:30a-5p, call/weekend/holiday rotation.

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, grounds, and pipe and utility systems in the facility.

Patient Financial Services

Full-time, 8:30a-5:00p, 40 hours a week, 7am-3pm Every Other Weekend and 2-3 holidays a year.

The Patient Services Representative interviews incoming patients or their representatives and enters information required for registrations into the Information system, operates switchboard, and maintains control of money received.

Information Systems

Full-time, Monday - Friday, with Call every fourth week.

The Network Engineer I operates, installs, configures, and troubleshoots computer networks and associated assemblies. They provide primarily in-house support and service Phelps Memorial Health Center issued equipment.

Marketing/PR

Team Phelps is looking for a Digital Media Coordinator to join our team! This is a full-time Monday through Friday position.

The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for all digital communication outlets including: social media, website(s), internal media forms and outside communication to create and uphold a positive public image.
