Nursing Administration

Exempt Full-Time

The Director of Inpatient Nursing manages the day to day activities of the nursing & ancillary staff. The Director of Inpatient Nursing coordinates with multiple departments and ensures staff and patient care remain consistent throughout the facility.

Inpatient Care

Full-time Nights, from 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend and Holiday rotation is required.  

Under the supervision of a Nurse, the CNA (Patient Care Tech) is cross-trained in the role of Unit Secretary and Nursing Assistant.  Based on the needs of the department, responsibilities are a combination of providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the nurse and performing a variety of computer, clerical, scheduling, and supply functions as necessary for the operation of the unit. 

Charge Nurse, Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Full-Time Nights, 6:00p-2:30a, Monday-Friday, Every other weekend and Holiday rotation.

Surgical Services

Full-time, Exempt, 3 weeks on 1 week off, call rotation is 1 week every 4 weeks. 

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers anesthesia, monitors patient’s vital signs, and oversees patient recovery from anesthesia. Assists with anesthesia-related medical and emergency situations such as airway maintenance and pulmonary ventilation.

Emergency Services

Emergency Department, Part-time, 1 shift a week 7p-7a, every 3rd weekend rotation.

The Physician’s Assistant or APRN is responsible for providing medical and/or emergency services including assessing and managing patients in the emergency department, hospital, outpatient, and clinic settings following established standards and best practices.

Full-time, 6a-6a with call from 10p-6a, 24-48 hours a week.

The EMT-P is responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent patient care while on duty and assists in other areas of the facility, as needed.

Radiology

PRN, Multi-modality CT/MRI/X-ray/US - will cover planned and unplanned staff absences. 

The Radiologic Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for patients of all ages for diagnosis and treatment.

Pharmacy

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week, No Nights or Holidays

The Retail Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for conducting multiple retail pharmacy services tasks and duties that foster the Phelps Memorial Health Center’s mission. This position requires a high level of integrity and a reverence for sound ethical practices.

Food & Nutrition Services

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

The Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services, with assistance from the Director of Guest Services and Registered Dietitian, plans, organizes and directs the operation of the Food and Nutrition Services Department’s daily functions.  It is the role of this employee to supervise co-worker’s work behaviors and competencies with the goal of improving adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, along with all other day to day operations of the Department in order to provide exceptional quality of food and service to Phelps Memorial Health Center (PMHC) customers and patients.

Environmental Services

Full-time, 40 hours a week, Shift hours will vary and include 7-3:30, 8-4:30, and 8:30-5.  Every 5th weekend and rotating holidays required.

The Environmental Services Technician I cleans onsite and offsite hospital areas and ensures there is an ample supply of clean linen for patient and facility use.

Care Coordinators

Full-time, Monday-Friday, call rotation

The Inpatient Authorization Specialist works with all clinical areas, and third party payers for the purpose of obtaining prior authorization or pre-certification and resolves appeals to ensure payment for services.

Fiscal Services

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30p.

The Materials Management Technician is responsible for receiving, appropriate accounting for and distribution of supplies and equipment required and utilized by all hospital departments.

Human Resources

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist will focus on recruitment, onboarding, orientation and training programs at PMHC.

Medical Group

Full-time Exempt
