Phelps Memorial Health Center is inviting the community to a special educational event focused on improving heart health. “Heart Health in Rural America” will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 6:00p.m.–7:30 p.m. at the Holdrege Country Club, 314 W. 18th Street. A complimentary meal will be provided.
This free event will feature Phelps Memorial medical providers sharing important information about some of the most common and serious heart conditions affecting rural populations, including:
• Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)
• Stroke
• Coronary Heart Disease
• Valvular Heart Disease
• Congestive Heart Failure
Attendees will learn how to recognize symptoms, understand risk factors, explore treatment options, and discover steps they can take to protect their heart health close to home.
