Phelps Memorial Health Center would like to welcome board certified psychiatrist Dr. Navdeep Sood and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Ashley Tejral, APRN to the Phelps Memorial Specialty Clinic.
Dr. Sood and Tejral are primarily located at Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Health in Grand Island, Neb. They treat patients ages 8 and older for health issues related to psychiatric needs and are committed to providing exceptional care to their patients.
Sood and Tejral will be treating patients for:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Bipolar illness
• Substance induced psychosis
• Alcohol induced issues
• Schizophrenia
• Schizoaffective disorders
• Other mental and behavioral health needs
Dr. Sood completed his medical training at the FUHS/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Ill. Tejral completed her training at the Creighton University College of Nursing in Omaha, Neb.
Tejral will be the primary provider seeing patients via telehealth software through Phelps Memorial’s Specialty Clinic. Initially, she will be offering appointments the second Friday of every month. To schedule an appointment, call 308.995.3305. A primary care referral is NOT required.
