Inpatient Care

LPN- Inpatient Nursing; Full-time, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN or LPN-C) manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

RN-Med/Surg; Full-time, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician. Compliance with rules and regulations of all applicable federal, state and local laws as well as PMHC policies is a condition of employment.

Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Charge Nurse, Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Full-time Nights, 6p-6a, Every 3rd Weekend and Holiday Rotation.

The Registered Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the Physician.

Surgical Services

Full-time, Exempt, 3 weeks on 1 week off, call rotation is 1 week every 4 weeks. 

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers anesthesia, monitors patient’s vital signs, and oversees patient recovery from anesthesia. Assists with anesthesia-related medical and emergency situations such as airway maintenance and pulmonary ventilation.

Emergency Services

Full-time or Part-time, 7p-7a, Every 3rd weekend, Holiday rotation.

The Physician’s Assistant/APRN is responsible for providing medical and/or emergency services including assessing and managing patients in the emergency department, hospital, outpatient, and clinic settings following established standards and best practices. The PA-C/APRN will practice within his/her scope and privileges as stated in their credentialing file.

Emergency Department, Part-time, 1 shift a week 7p-7a, every 3rd weekend rotation.

The Physician’s Assistant or APRN is responsible for providing medical and/or emergency services including assessing and managing patients in the emergency department, hospital, outpatient, and clinic settings following established standards and best practices.

Full-time, 6a-6a with call from 10p-6a, 24-48 hours a week.

The EMT-P is responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent patient care while on duty and assists in other areas of the facility, as needed.

Radiology

PRN, Multi-modality CT/MRI/X-ray/US - will cover planned and unplanned staff absences. 

The Radiologic Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for patients of all ages for diagnosis and treatment.

Food & Nutrition Services

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Full-time, 6:00a-6:00p, 40 hours a week, every 3rd weekend 12 hour shifts and rotating holidays.

The Cook follows menus, recipes and diet orders to prepare, season, cook and serve meals appropriate for all age categories and groups of patients, visitors, staff and catered events of PMHC.

$2,000 Sign on Bonus!

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

The Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services, with assistance from the Director of Guest Services and Registered Dietitian, plans, organizes and directs the operation of the Food and Nutrition Services Department’s daily functions.  It is the role of this employee to supervise co-worker’s work behaviors and competencies with the goal of improving adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, along with all other day to day operations of the Department in order to provide exceptional quality of food and service to Phelps Memorial Health Center (PMHC) customers and patients.

Environmental Services

Full-Time, 2:00p-10:30p, Monday-Friday, every 5th weekend and holiday rotation, 15% NIGHT DIFFERENTIAL.

The Environmental Services Technician II cleans onsite and offsite hospital areas, ensures there is an ample supply of clean linen for patient and facility use, and keeps floors of hallways, rooms and departments throughout the facility and outside windows and traffic areas in clean and well kept condition.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

15% shift differential, Full-time, Monday-Friday, hours varied 2p-10:30p & 5p-1:30a.

The Environmental Services Technician II cleans onsite and offsite hospital areas, ensures there is an ample supply of clean linen for patient and facility use, and keeps floors of hallways, rooms and departments throughout the facility and outside windows and traffic areas in clean and well kept condition.

Information Systems

Full-time, Monday-Friday, Call rotation every 4th week.

Computer support specialists provide help and advice to employees within Phelps Memorial Health Center. Computer support specialists, assist non-IT users who are having computer problems and support employees with their day-to-day issues. They provide primarily in-house support and service Phelps Memorial Health Center issued equipment.

Fiscal Services

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p.

The Materials Management Technician is responsible for receiving, appropriate accounting for and distribution of supplies and equipment required and utilized by all hospital departments.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p.

The Materials Resource Buyer Associate assists in coordinating business transactions and office activities for the purchase and appropriate accounting of supplies and equipment required and utilized by all hospital departments. Compliance with rules and regulations of all applicable federal, state and local laws as well as PMHC policies is a condition of employment.

Human Resources

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist will focus on recruitment, onboarding, orientation and training programs at PMHC.
