April 12 UPDATE:
If you missed your scheduled appointment for your second dose during the week of April 5, please reach out to Two Rivers Public Health Department for assistance in scheduling a second dose. They will be holding a clinic in Holdrege on Thursday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ag Center.
At this time, we do not have plans to give first doses of the vaccine here in Holdrege. We will keep this page updated with the most current information available.
If you are interested in receiving the vaccine and live in Two Rivers Public Health District, you can use the state website https://vaccinate.ne.gov/en-US/ to register for one of their clinics, or you can reach out to Medicap Pharmacy or Walmart Pharmacy in Kearney, NE to schedule a vaccine appointment with them.
April 1, 2021 UPDATE
Due to the Easter holiday, we have rescheduled all second doses from April 1 & 2 to next week. Please return for your second dose on:
Tuesday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, April 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

** March 24, 2021 UPDATE**
Two Rivers Health Department is conducting a community vaccination clinic this Thursday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will have 700 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine available to anyone age 16 and older!
Two Rivers is asking that you pre-register with the Nebraska DHHS at https://vaccinate.ne.gov/en-US/
If you wish to wait for another PMHC clinic, we are unsure when our next allotment for first doses will arrive. Check back to this website or follow us on Facebook for updates!
Please use the form below to provide your information directly to the local Phelps County medical team. We understand that you may have previously registered with Two Rivers Public Health Department, but please use this form as well to register if you have NOT received a vaccine yet.
Those individuals who are currently eligible (as of March 16, 2021) include:
- All individuals age 40 and older
- First responders and volunteer fire/EMS
- Utilities employees
- Educators and school employees
- Daycare providers - home and centers
- Corrections staff
- Funeral home employees
- Grocery workers
- Food processing employees
- Transportation worker
- U.S. Postal Service workers
- Public transit workers
Vaccine clinics have generally been held each week on Thursdays and Fridays. Please indicate on the form below your availability to come receive a vaccine on each of those days. The entire process should take no more than 30 minutes of your time.
The vaccine we are currently administering is Pfizer, which does require a second dose 21 days following the first dose. You will automatically be scheduled to return for your second dose three weeks from the date of your initial dose.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 OR received Bamlanivimab infusions for treatment of COVID-19, you must wait 90 days before you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
